This is how the wine estate grew from 45 hectares in 1970 to 70 hectares in 1980, reaching almost 95 hectares today. It is Christine, Eric and Philibert Perrin who have taken up the torch, following in the footsteps of their father Antony. The terroir of Ch\u00e2teau Carbonnieux is remarkable for the diversity of its soils. Ch\u00e2teau Carbonnieux Blanc, Grand Cru Class\u00e9 Pessac-L\u00e9ognan: in their youth, the whites captivate with their purity and aromatic intensity. As they age, candied notes appear, allowing for very diverse food and wine pairings. Ch\u00e2teau Carbonnieux red, Grand Cru Class\u00e9 Pessac-L\u00e9ognan: the reds are in the Bordeaux tradition.
