This Grand Cru Class\u00e9 stands out for the singularity of its terroir. In 1996, Ch\u00e2teau Malartic-Lagravi\u00e8re joined the Bonnie family, who run the estate today. The very next year, a profound transformation began: modernisation of the technical facilities, construction of a state-of-the-art vat room and greater attention to the vineyard. Under their leadership, the estate made spectacular progress and established itself as one of the essential references of Pessac-L\u00e9ognan. Today the vineyard covers around 73 hectares, the vast majority devoted to red wines. The red grape varieties are mainly Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon in balanced proportions, complemented by Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The wines of Ch\u00e2teau Malartic-Lagravi\u00e8re stand out for their balance between intensity, depth and elegance.
