Made to the same exacting standards as the Grand Vin, it benefits from traditional vinification in wooden, concrete and stainless steel vats, with extraction adapted to each lot. It is then aged in French oak barrels for about 16 months. The blend gives a larger share to Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon and occasionally Cabernet Franc, giving the wine a different expression, more accessible in its youth while remaining true to the Pauillac style.
