The present-day terroir of the Grand Vin dates back to the 17th century. The gateway, emblem of the Estate, opens onto a clos of around 55 ha enclosed by a stone wall, which marks out its terroir and stretches from the village of Saint-Julien to Ch\u00e2teau Latour. It is within this clos that the Grand Vin de L\u00e9oville du Marquis de Las Cases is produced.
