Critics’ scores and tasting notes
“A balanced and slightly chewy red. Medium-bodied with chewy tannins. Solid at the edges and juicy at the center. Focused finish with a chocolate undertone.”
Located in the heart of the Saint-Estèphe appellation, Château Lilian Ladouys embodies the renaissance of a great Médoc terroir. Since its purchase by Jacky and Françoise Lorenzetti in 2008, the estate has profoundly modernised its approach: restructuring of the plots, creation of a semi-gravity-fed vat room and meticulous soil work. These technical choices, combined with constant care of the vines, allow the full depth of the gravel and clay-limestone terroirs to be expressed.
